If you download the Old Sacramento Scavenger Hunt, riddle number nine is going to bring you to the Huntington and Hopkins Hardware Store. The store not only provides an answer to one of the riddles, it is also one of three free museums you will encounter along the way. Each of the free museums (the Wells Fargo Museum, the Old Schoolhouse Museum, and the Huntington and Hopkins Hardware Store) provides a setting for eye spy riddles. These are perfect for younger children (and the young at heart).
When you enter the Huntington and Hopkins Hardware Store, try to find the following:Â 8 hammers, a hand pump, a picture of the Edison lamp, an anvil, and door knobs.
